Specially adapted lifting attachment for installation on construction sites
This example shows a custom-designed lifting sling made of 12 mm hot-rolled steel plate, developed for carpenters who needed a safe and precise solution for lifting large glulam beams during the construction of the entrance to an industrial building. When standard lifting equipment is not sufficient, a specially adapted attachment is required that can withstand both the load and the working environment requirements.
Laser cutting in thick steel plate and carefully adapted geometry resulted in a lifting sling that fit the dimensions of the beams and lifting conditions exactly. The design was engineered to withstand high loads while being easy to use during the assembly phase at the construction site.
Every detail was dimensioned according to actual conditions – from material selection to hole pattern – to ensure safe handling, correct load distribution, and smooth workflow during lifting.
